Refrigue was founded in 1972 in Palmela, Setúbal, Portugal, with a simple mission: to protect people from the cold.
What began as a small textile workshop dedicated to manufacturing personal protective equipment, soon grew into one of the pioneering companies in Portugal specialized in technical-professional clothing and certified equipment.
For over 50 years, Refrigue Confecções Para o Frio, Lda. has been designing and producing personal protective equipment (PPE) for professionals working in the most demanding environments — from low and negative temperatures to high-visibility conditions. Our expertise lies in combining safety, comfort, and durability, ensuring that every garment delivers outstanding performance where it matters most.
